Job Description
Cashiers provide fast, friendly, and accurate check out services for our guests using a computerized cash system. Cashiers often bag their guests’ groceries and help shoppers find items in the store. They must maintain a clean and stocked work station. They may be asked to front surrounding areas and may take “return” products back to proper shelf locations.
Qualifications
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service.
- Must have a love of natural, organic and specialty products.
- Ability to learn and operate all aspects of the computerized cash system.
- Ability to learn and follow strict cash/check/credit card handling procedures
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 4 hours without a break. Stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
- Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and Holidays.

- Effectively Communicate with Customers, Team Members and Team Leaders
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Maintain A clean and well stocked cashier Pod
- Fronting of surrounding areas including: Wine, Candy, Misc. Grocery and Liquor
- Bag Groceries and retrieve carts when necessary
